The Z has moved exactly 1 foot 6.7 inches in the last 6 weeks. (To make sure it starts and to keep the tires from getting too badly flatspotted.) It is covered with a nice protective layer of dust. (Keeps the UV off the paint.... or so I delude myself.)

The roadster, on the other hand....

Er, I mean, the roadsterS...

...since I got back home after nearly a month away, been driving the daily (SL), well, pretty much daily cuz lazy. Drove roadster a few times to keep the carbs full of fresh gas and the battery up.

Then again, the BananaCar, which hasn't moved out of the garage in, well, longer than my 33 has been sitting on the street. Long enough for spiders to have taken up residence in webs attached to it.

Oh, it runs just fine, especially after all the new stuff under the hood, just haven't had the gumption to get it out on the road and over to the smog shop for a re-test. Easily distracted I am....

Speaking of things that don't run... 3 motors, none of which are currently in a car.

You should pull the other one in and pop the hood for a picture so it looks like a more authentic 350z shop.

The guy on the phone just type in 350z motor install into you tube?

Adjusted sway bars for a more neutral/oversteer configuration. Tested the setup on Lake Hughes Road/Castaic Lake.

The old cars that booted my newer cars (incl the 33) out of my main garage and into the storage garage and street. Bitter irony.

After 8 hours of washing, clay barring, wax and glaze sealant. Loving it.

Rare opportunity presented itself this evening. Got the whole fleet together out of sheer luck.

Poor Z.... filthy and hasn't been moved more than a few feet (to clean off the webs and keep the tahrs from flat spotting) in over two months.

Oddly coincidental with when I got the roadster.

The WTF Yellow Banana Car is close to smog compliance and should be done by this weekend!! Finally! Now the fun stuff can begin..... wheels, suspension, interior, body stuff all await. Unless it's sold.... someone still wants it after all this time!

Sidenote: The topic of "Mic, why don't you just get one nice new car instead of all those old ones?" came up at a social gathering by one of our friends.

"Because for what I have into my four FUN cars that I truly ENJOY, I can't even buy that ONE soulless new car that I would buy if I HAD to buy one."

Her son (an old Datsun fanatic too) said: "Yeah mom, Uncle Mic's got the coolest cars of all your friends!" Hahahahahahahahaha!
