Nice. I spent about 4hrs today with a DA and although it looks 10x better, there's still a lot of scratches / swirls. MB FTL

Thanks guys. The car's paint was never this clean, but there still some swirls. But it's a daily driver black car so I'm happy how it is. You never really own a black car..it will always own you!

I also DD the Z + I lived on a gravel road for a year. I don't think the NISMO will ever forgive me.

 

+1 on the porter cable, spent about two days working on my car to remove scratches, swirls and seal, but it still looks great

2 days huh? Which pads did you use on your PC? I used the Meguiar's soft buff (not the 2.0). I just wish Meguiar's had a more abrasive cutting pad

 

I used the lake country pads. Mind you the two days were - clay barring entire car very thoroughly (important to seal long term), then I used the cyan pad (I think) then yellow which is med cut then light cut then finished with orange pad before sealing the paint. then I added a layer of wax.

Took forever! But it never has looked better

 

awesome. Going to try Lake Country next. And by next, I mean next year lol
