you park like crap. and why ditch bbs for crap rotas. sorry for hate, but hate.
Lol no worries, I suppose I'll respond anyway:
1) I'm near the end of a parking lot at a local grocery store, on a Wednesday night at 8:30. I did not see the lot filling up any time soon. Plus I'm parked within the lines anyway, and I felt having the car at a bit of an angle relative to the lines made it a more interesting photo.
2) I didn't ditch the stock BBS wheels. They will be used as my dedicated winter setup. I wanted something more aggressive looking and in gloss white and these Rota DPT fit the bill, without breaking the bank. This is my DD and I do not take care of it on the same level that I do the 350z, so I do not want to worry about $3k wheels on this thing.

you know rota is an oem mitsubishi wheel manufacturer correct? i get your point, as bbs are superior, but they're not as much a pile as everybody makes them to be.
i really just hate all these people and their 35k $ cars that take off nice factory wheels, for aftermarket look that arent as quality nor appealing as stock wheels. because they get another inch in width of wheel, assuming stock tire as it appears he didn't go up in diameter of wheel. so no real performance gain. just my iopinion. kinda like donks in reverse.

As the guy above you stated, Rota is an OEM manufacturer so your argument over quality vs oem is not valid.
rota compound better than stock bbs? doubt it. not a wheel genius. or any genius. I even said sorry for hate, rofl. the diameter was more to the reference that it APPEARS he did not change the tires, thats all. it was not to reference performance.

Hey man I'll level with ya. I did it solely for looks. Wanted a lower offset wheel with wider tires to better fill in the fender wells on the car. The stock wheels and tires are 17x7.5 +53 offset and are super sunk into the wheel wells. If the stock BBS were closer to the 17x9 +42 that I ended up getting for my summer setup, I probably would not have changed them.
You are correct that I didn't change diameter, but I did go with a wider wheel which required me to go with a wider tire. Again, it's for looks because I'm only putting down stage 2 power and the stock size 225/45 tires are more than capable of handling it.
Let me also say this: I didn't buy Rota wheels because I think they are great wheels. I bought them because I wanted something that looked good, with reasonable price tag, that I wouldn't feel bad abusing on my daily driver. I may have 3k to spend on wheels for the Z, which is a garage queen and I pamper, but I certainly cannot justify that kind of scratch for this car.
