Default Forged Performance: HKS GT800 Turbo Kit Install

Today we are installing an HKS GT800 Turbo Kit on a customer's R35 GT-R. This turbo upgrade with supporting mods will turn the GT-R into a 9 second street monster while still retaining AC, power steering, navigation and all the luxuries that are expected from an R35. We are expecting to see 700+whp once the kit is installed and tuning is completed

Unboxing and prepping for install....

That looks very sick! I'm surprised HKS has v-band cast manifolds. Did this kit come from Japan since the HKS U.S. facility has not closed it's doors?

20k in the transmission alone is a tough cost of entry.

do you have to drop the whole engine/front suspension assembly to do this type of install?

Yes, as you can see in the photos in the original post, the motor and front suspension MUST be removed. The installation on this kit is quite lengthy.
