Default Performance Motorsport: At Pocono Raceway July '11

This past weekend we attended the Grand Slam event at Pocono Raceway in PA. 2 days of pure sun and heat, but all worth it for the passion of racing. I shot just shy of 40gigs of pics and video... I will add more later but here are a few for now.

this was our set up with the trailer and the coach bus that is like a high end apartment on wheels haha:

Our track prepped 2011 370Z and our track Lotus Elise:

The Lotus:

Our 370Z:

Our track Z06:

On the second day we competed in The Real Time Attack race. We finished 2nd place with the Z06 and 3rd place with the 370Z. Funny thing is, our 370Z doesnt really have much power mods but is set up well with the suspension and tires etc... The car barely makes 340whp Naturally Aspirated. So we are pleased at how well it did. It was amusing though how people kept on asking if it was TT and which turbos we went with.

All in all, it was a fun event and as a team we walked away rather pleased considering. Next event will be the Global Time Attack event at NJMP in New Jersey in August. We expect better results at this next event with what we are working on now with the Z...

As a teaser this is how she sits as of 2pm today:

and yes... we are keeping the car N/A

Heard a GTR went butt first in to a wall . Secondly, any reason you guys pinch on the front hoosiers opposed to just getting a larger front wheel (width)?

To be honest I didnt see nor hear about a GT-R going into a wall. I know a few cars did however as well as blew out a couple of tires at the bump.
