I always liked your Z, too bad its gone
I have always thought that body style M3 was the best looking. I was looking in to them when I had first purchased my Z(almost 4 years ago) but was too afraid of having to fix it when something broke. Lets face it, BMW's are not cheap. Anyways, nice pick up, Im sure in time it will look just as good, if not better than your Z

The csl trunk im really not sure about, they look amazing from a straight rear shot but from a side shot they look like elf shoes (sticks out and slopes up way too much. But im sure i can make them work).
I came in with a plan to keep my car oem, no lips, no aftermarket front bumper, and even keep stock wheels... CSL bumper coming soon?

This is what made me change my view on the csl bumper and wheels. This is what i'd like my M3 to look like minus the blacked out grill/gills
And of course, cant wait for some angel eyes
appreciate it bro, the subtle drop is more than enough for me. For this car i dont want to go too aggressive. I dont think thats what the m3 is about. Sleek, classy, yet somewhat stealthy is the look im going for. Once i get coilovers, i wont go much lower than what i am now. My Z looked great, but i hated driving it around town I want to experience the true joy of having a sports car which is a combination of performance, looks, and driveability

well with all the mods in my Z i had to add couple grand on top of that to get the M. And the M had 20k more miles :/
problem with the M3 is not many people can afford the maintenance. Its a tad bit more than the Z, just that the m3 tend to need maintenance a lot more lol

Congrats. I was about to do the same with my z. I love the e46 and e90 m3s, but people kept telling me my z was hotter. Plus with all the mods done to the z, I wouldn't have been able re-coupe all that time and money I spent on it. Funny cause Ive seen that red m3 before as well. Favorite wheel of all times is the work meisters for the z and m3. My vote is for some meisters 200%. Plus, I eat some serious cars on the track with my z, and I would be starting all over with an m3. I must admit, I would take a different approach to modding the m3 as u are. Clean and simple.
As for the csl look, I love it, but question being a poser because csl's came like that. But whatever floats your boat. That being said, I do love the trunks on them.
Keep us updated with your progress. And good luck. I still ck out the m3 boards now and then as well.
