Yep I've been to both, the only reason I suggested Scarlets is an old friend of mine is a bartender there. She normally hooks me (group) up...but i'm down either way. GF seems pretty down too, she's never been to one. Haha

oh snap i just ran into this thread, im down to see this. flo why dont you guys run it where you took your last photoshoot behind tamiami airport, there is a closed road there thats like 1/4 mile long. or by the back roads behind the texaco

we're not going to be "racing" or doing anything silly.
stopping is the new speeding.

i just think it should be a closed road so we can set up a good visual
measure - like a flare/paint line/cones... so that the video makes sense.

side by side stops! hehehehe. that sounds crazy.

 

we can set people with cams at each marker (5ft intervals?) to document the stops.

does anyone have video editing capability?

I suppose for the numbers test we can use the g-tech since itll know when braking is started and finished. Designated passenger who operates g-tech in each car to ensure consistency...

We can do 60-0/80-0/100-0, depending on what we have enough room for. Will need to do consistent cool down times between runs for brakes and tires.

For the visual stops the trick will be to all brake at the same time.

If we can actually pull this together itll be pretty awesome...
