Ya i was torn on the location, but figured a busy, colorful graffiti wall would contrast the car well. Jason (aka Mysterymann) did an awesome job on the pics and making the colors pop.

i take it, it was a city commissioned wall by local artists to add some urban flair?

It actually is a really nice area very close to downtown Houston. It was not city commissioned but in a way you're right as the owners/business this wall is a part of actually opened the wall up to graffiti artist who were serious about the art...which is a rare thing around here.
Houston is VERY hard on graffiti, so there are few great examples around here but this one is pretty well known as one of the best. It changes every 6 months or so, but always serious artists only.
