My new track setup!
Wish i could be of more help. I saw first hand how bad they could look so i just dropped it off at the shop and hoped for the best. Was so happy with how it turned out that i dint ask how they did it.

I ran 32 psi in front and 30 psi in back, but I got too lazy to change the dampening on my coilovers. I could have pushed the car harder, looking back at the vids. But I think I did decently for my first time.

I have the non sports but upgraded the springs to Swift Springs. With full stiff setting on the struts, it was bouncy on the freeway, especially on cement freeways. Asphalt freeways were a lot less bouncy. They were great on turns.
Thanks for the additional pics, Danh!
It's a custom color. Just a battleship grey with blue pearl.
Hah, maybe that'll change after my track event. I expect to get some damage somewhere...hopefully not a lot!
hah, now that you mention it, I see it, too!
I love the quality of the Chargespeed skirts!
Thanks!

Car looks great... I wouldn't be able to track it with that set up in good conscience. Good luck to you man.

Okay, here's one video I have so far. Got a couple more that I'm working on.
Keep in mind, this is my first event and the track was still a bit wet!

do u know what u got time wise?
a few pointers i can give u, use the whole road, dont be afraid to ride on the red/white boarders.
the bowl (that giant left banked turn) has a trick to it. there is 2 ways u can hit it while driving ccw. either in-out-in (yes it sounds odd, but it shoots u out at the end) or out-out-out-IN, and you cut in really hard, either way try and finish IN instead of out because u need to set up for the next turn.
turn 4. u can take it a bit wider because u wanna shoot up shkane so u will end up IN when u leave the apex. ummm the S's after the bowl, try and hit apex to apex. dont do the whole out-in-out with those because u want to cut through it and not drive around it taking up time.

a couple things I noticed, I only watched a minute of so.
1st - stop downshifting how you are in the video, learn to heal-toe...downshifting how you are will upset your car.
2nd - you are on sticky tires and have a real diff, use them!
you can get on coming out of corners, I know first track day, you'll eventually learn, you just have to get more comfortable with your car.
3rd - why does it sound like you are shifting at 4k and cruising in like 4th gear?
that's some quick pointers I came up with from watching a bit of the video.

@FastZ33:My best time that I know of was 1:47. Yup, was aiming for the white/red borders. On the last turn for one of my laps, I over aimed and went a bit over one of the borders and spun out.
The bowl, I wasn't used to the G forces at all, so my judgement was way off on how well the car can handle the turn. That and someone telling me they saw someone spin out on the bank and shatter their front bumper didn't help
I did try the in-out-in or two apex approach on that turn, it was a lot better, but at the end of those laps, there was a really slow Civic Si, so I decided not to even edit that vid.
Thanks for the input! Still trying to figure out the line on about 1/3rd of the track.
@SE5spd: I was heel-toeing the whole time
Might not have put the revs up as high as I should have, but I'm pretty sure I was most of the time. I've heard the horror stories of downshifting without blipping the throttle.
Was cruising in 3rd and 4th at times because of the drizzle and slightly wet conditions. Spun out on a lap earlier in the day, so I was taking it easy. So, yes, I definitely need to get more comfortable. Again, first time on the track!
Thanks for the input guys! Keep it coming!
