and actually they sent me the wrong color lug nuts, i ordered black but they sent me red, at least it worked out

 

IMO - the shorter the antenna, the better it looks.
Yeah, black lugs is a safe bet and red is a toss up but I like the red... black is good too.

 

Yea i agree with you, from certain angles the antenna makes it look like a RC car, which antenna did you go with?

yea i wanted the black because im not trying to clash colors (my engine bay is the biggest clasher), but so far people are telling me to keep the red and its starting to grow on me. ill still order a black set and compare

 

I originally wanted the Perrin but it was too much for an antenna back then. It's been awhile but I believe I got the 2.4 inch antenna.

Nice lil build thread! You have the wheels ive been looking at! i love the newer meisters and SO glad i got to see how they look on the IF. Ill prolly be ordering my S1R's in a month. Looking at a 19x10.5 +15 front and 19x11.5 +15 with Gunmetal face and polished lips. Props to the cars progression bud! Keep up the good work and maybe ill see ya around houston!

i got a few suggestions, clean your wheel wells, degrease it, scrub good, and then spray some tire shine or wd40 and wipe dry. this makes them look like new; also, tire shine your tires before you shoot pics. one last thing, i would paint the housing black and copper coat the silver part of your projectors.

 

Subscribed. I bet the car would pop in direct sunlight (esp with the wheels) Maybe some pro photos are in order?

But with the headlight, too be honest, i would love to do them black housing but my headlights are in mint perfect condition and i would hate to have to take them apart and risk getting condensation. But maybe one day


YES AND YES! im really trying to find time to set one up. I already have a photographer in mind that i would want to shoot my car, but i really want to finish my interior first

I ordered through Hybrid Racing. A local shop here in baton rouge.
So I'm guessing you didn't get yours custom sized? The guy I ordered through just put a order for himself in late July and still hasn't gotten them. So I'm hoping by December I get mine. I ended up going 19x10.5 19x11.5 +15 all around with polished lip and gunmetal face.

 

I had no idea Hybrid ordered wheels, i thought they just made parts lol

And no i didnt choose my specs, but the specs that they had were on point with what i wanted (at the time). I got mine in 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +15 which goes nicely with what i was going for. i do however wish i gotten a x11 so i can put a wider tire down the road.

I cant wait to see your wheels though, and that long wait time is gonna be hell lol

 

Ya the wait will suck but gives me time to save for tires etc. I'm so ready!

 

Are you going to stretch them or are you getting some meaty tires?
