WOOO!!! got my camera working again. Its no DSLR or anything fancy but it takes pics 1000x better than my iphone. just a small update.
I wasn't feeling the polished parts at all. Soooooo i took them off and dropped them to get powdercoated. Color is is somewhat kinda but not really custom, its just the way its being powdercoated that makes it somewhat different.
I took my upper plenum, intake tube, throttle body, these two valve things, my rare jdm wire cover and some bolts and dropped them off. i really wish i couldve took my timing cover, but i guess once i drop some cams in there ill have the opportunity.
Heres where the car sits now.
2nd stage of wire tucking will comence this week, and i should be getting some of the final interior parts in!!
and just a couple more pics of the seats!!! i love these seats
watch for updates
p.s. sorry for the big pics, i need to learn how to re-size pics again, been way toooo long without a camera

Well, no update yet but ive been taking several pics to try to get the hang of lighting and position. Sad to say i havent figured anything out, it looks like im just going to be pointing and shooting lol At least i know now that my future doesnt have photography in it lol
Well here are a couple pics of where im at, nothing special just still waiting and waiting on parts to come in.
heres my super basic interior, dont mind the cubby scratches, i will replace with a new one very soon
and the suede headliner
and my little boom boom in the back
and the actual car which i havent driven in 3 weeks
by the way guys, im open for suggestions on wheels, i want the MS1's but i always see wheels that i would love to have but not sure how it would go with the paint. Any ideas???

Oh wow, I'm only on my 3rd week of not driving it, I can't imagine a year. Can't wait to see what you got in store for us!!

Don't get me wrong, I like some of their styles, just that many people don't think wheels are nice unless they are an "original style" (volk invented every style there is ) and cost >$3k

Welp, still waiting for my plenum, throttle body, intake, and misc. to get back from powder coating. and still waiting on my special part from chicago to finish up the tuck. pretty much everything engine harness wise is tucked, and the alternator power wire is tucked.
Still have to wait on do doing the fender wires.
just a couple pics of how the cars sitting. keep in my mind i already tucked the alternator wire to the battery
and my birthday present from last month finally came in the mail today
trust me, it was a pain in the *** just un-wrapping it. prolly going to be more of a pain putting it in the car.
x-brace is in the other room, but ill take plenty of pics along the way.
starting PTO this wednesday, parts coming in for my Z and also have more parts coming for my acura rsx (the car ive been neglecting since the Z lol)
going try to maintain both projects this week so stay tuned!!

Well finally got the Kirks Racing Roll Bar in the Z!!! started at 12 exactly and finished at 5:30 with about an hour break. so about 4 and half hours, not too bad. I did it by myself but if i would of have some helping hands it couldve been knocked out in half the time. but oh well
still not 100% complete, but all i have to do is fit the carpet around the bottom of bar, and repaint the upper portion of the X brace since frustration got the better of me and messed up the paint around there.
this is when i put the first part of the bar in the car
then the finished product
You can see the f'd up paint here
and the rest of the shots
so on a scale of 1-10 of difficulty its about a 6 with most of the time going to drilling the holes. and i called it a night since my back is giving out on me already, i might be 23 but i have the back of a 70 year old lol
Probably early tomorrow ill repaint the x-brace and finish with the carpet and finally be able to make it look like a car again!!
Plus I got some more parts coming in tonight. Ill take some more pics when they get here.
Thanks for looking!!

Well i brought the painter out in me today, pretty much today was just a fix up of my frustration from installing the roll bar yesterday.
Before
After
Gonna work on it a little more in the future to get it just right but as long as it doesnt look like it did before than im ok for now. I might just get the whole x brace redone if it bothers me too much.
And also experimented with my timing cover because i could not stand it any longer!
Before
After
It looks really good in person and no runs or rough spots, i love painting!!
My parts are coming back from powder coating tomorrow morning. and some more goodies coming today and next week.
Stay Tuned

Got my parts back from powder coating! color is copper, and since i have a already black engine bay, i figured i go with a copper and black theme in there, i probably wont have any copper anywhere else, just engine bay bling.
Parts powdercoated copper:
Upper Plenum
Intake Tube
Rare JDM Cover
Throttle Body (Copper sprayed, not powdercoated)
Only quarrel i had was they accidentally got the powdercoat in the threads of the intake tube making it a PITA to put the MAF sensor back in. I accidentally broke a screw in the process but was able to get the other screw all the way. Is it a big deal if that sensor is only held on by one screw?
Here are the pics!
i got other misc things powder coated black and these are the only 3 things i got copper coated.
i have my coil pack covers coming in the mail tomorrow, thinking of just leaving them polished or idk. Ill think of something lol
