Nope, the cop had us pull into a parking lot as the accident happened at an intersection. The guy who hit me just wasn't paying attention and slammed in the back of me. I had to go to the hospital for neck and back pain and I'm still hurting today. No bueno.

Ouch sorry to hear. So this fool was involved in an accident then hit you too? Or was he rubber necking?

Clean car I like it.

The truck behind me in the pic was the guy who in fact hit me. It's amazing how strong trucks bumpers are as his truck looked pretty much unscathed.

It's a diffuser.

Thanks guys for the well wishes. My back is hurting this morning, FTL. I meet with the adjuster soon so hopefully they take care of me.

Quick question guys? Should I go through Infiniti for the body shop? They use a separate shop but will probably use OEM parts?

I would see if you can find any reviews of the shop Infiniti uses. And if you end up finding a shop on your own, make sure it's one that your insurance (or the other guy's insurance?) will work with. Sometimes there are restrictions.

You can take the car to the shop of your choice. You can also demand that they use oem parts as you want your car returned to factory condition. Also since you were injured, you are entitled to compensation for pain and suffering. Last but not least, you need to demand diminshed value(if your state allows, and I believe Tx does), as your car has lost value because of a loss. If you have any other questions, you can pm me. I work as a broker and agent in the insurance industry

After looking at my car some more I noticed the passenger side rear wheel well panel is about half an inch away from the tire, where as on the other side is about an inch difference. Could that mean possible frame damage?
