I love my San Marino Blue. So far I have only seen 3 other SMB in the 3 years I have owned my car. Alot of people have told me they love my color since they never seen it before on a Z (they always say they have seen Daytona Blue) although at night most people think my car is black, which I hate.

I know exactly what you mean about smb being mistaken for black. More than once people have been like "is that your black Z outside?". San Marino blue definitely needs the sun/right lighting to really pop.
We call this picture, Ketchup, Horsey Sauce, and Mustard haha. Mine is the red one, buddy Nick has the white , and Matt has the yellow! There's a lot of Z's around my town.
We've got a lot of Z's in my area. Never seen any brickyards around other than mine, and only one interlagos fire! Also, never seen an ultra yellow in person, unfortunately.
The rarest Z color, ‘Liquid Aluminum’, was only available for half a year on the 2004.5 models. It was also an $1100 up-charge (about $2000 in Canada). Much like chrome silver, but brighter with a little more optical sharpness.
Last weekend I loaded my dog and a couple of her dog friends in a SUV and took them for a hike. Walking across the ski resort parking area we came upon a young Asian guy getting out of a San Marino Blue coupe. He gave the car that last little look (as only a Z owner can do) lest there be a stray speck of dust on the paintwork. As I passed by, I said, “now that’s a COOL car”, his face lit up with a big smile as he said thank you. His girlfriend also smiled, except it was really one of those “back off b!tch" looks camouflaged as a smile.
