Default Ecks' Z

Making this thread more for my own personal use for me to keep track of progress for my car(and obviously to share pics).
Feel free to comment on the good and the bad and what I should do next.

How it was when I bought it (Sept. 2011)

First "mod," I added an iDevice charger

Got rid of the subs and the amp

Burning off what was left of the tires that came on the car

Bought snow tires and wheels

Slotted rotors, SS lines and HPS pads

Got a GPS for Christmas and put it in the cubby hole

Added Aerosync front bumper

I have also installed a 5/16" Motordyne plenum spacer, but don't have any pics for that.

They came with the car.

I sold the subs/box/amp for $600 as a package.
Took 2-3months though

re-installed the undertray and wheel well liners today so the bumper is nice and secure now. No more flapping around

I also smoked the reflectors with VHT Nite Shades. You can't really see the reflector anymore (in person you can if you shine a light on it, but it's not very reflective), so it's not very functional, but it looks good!

Nice start. Aerosync is always a good choice. IMO, some new wheels should make their way into your life soon. I think the stockers are nicer than those TSW's, personally.

I think these wheels are okay.
I don't not like them enough to buy new ones.
If I was to get new wheels I would want TE37s or Nismos, and I just don't have that kind of budget.

But I do agree that they're not the best wheels ever put on a 350. Not the worst either though

And the car didn't come with the stockers

Yeah sorry about that, didn't mean to come off as being overly critical. I hear ya on the wheels - it took me a while to save up the cash, and then have the cajones to actually spend it on a set of Volks. But the nice part is that once you buy in, you can trade up-down for a few hundred bucks in either direction as you become bored with them. As long as they are in good shape they hold their value pretty well. (And buy used when/if you do!)

How much can you get a used set of TE37s for?

It's like anything else, it depends on the condition and the circumstances. I'd say if someone is motivated to sell and the wheels are in decent condition, $2000-$2500.

Nice start

My first wheels were TSW's and I ran them for almost a year, you will notice how heavy they are once you switch to TE-37's or NISMO's, believe me.

Installed my new Corbeau A4 seats (microsuede).*

*they came out of my friends Z06, so they're not brand new but they're in perfect condition and he sold them to me for half of what he paid.

Good start! Good choices on future wheels can't go wrong with either. Personally, I'd go with TE37s, only because I want a set for myself lol.

Those seats look good, maybe throw a suede/alcantara shift boot and a new **** to set them off.
