you'll be happy to know the wheels finally came in. back to my fave wheels of all time. so light yet so strong, it's hard to go for a blingy wheel like work meisters or vsxx.
quick tease for you guys.
just got back from the tire shop, 245/35 275/30 19" volk te37. still need to clean off the lube and degrease the tires fully (i always do that to make sure tires stay looking new.

they are actually gunmetal, Eddie. i wanted to keep my oem theme of gunmetal wheels on blue. it really looks sick in person, so hopefully these will look good. i will paint my brembos another color so they can pop a bit more.

hehe, thanks man, hope all is well with the nismo.
yeah, seems like all they do, autocross and drag. they do well. high temp brake fluid and some aggressive carbotech pads with nice tires do very well. although i feel handling is the only thing that this car isn't up to par (only feel wise), its pretty easy to throw around corners. it's forgiving like the gtr. fun factor goes down of course.
lol, im left with old farts on the other site that are *****.

got my exhaust today. Talked to PPE about my order on headers, they are running behind schedule so they said two more weeks. so basically 5-6 weeks. dammit. kinda long if you ask me.

there are a few companies that just came out the past three months including SARD from japan that are claiming they cracked the ECU. SARD is the only company that works with denso and toyota themselves. a few owners in Socal are paying the tuner to fly out here to do a tune. they are claiming they can get close to 500whp if you have bolt ons. they got 35whp out of a stock ISF with a tune.
but for a car with no tuning options, bolt ons and resetting and letting the oem ECU relearn the car, gains are really nice which is why i went with the headers and exhaust. with dynographs showing no loss or dips in power anywhere after the relearn.

got the hubrings in today so mounted up the wheels. Still haven't put the coilovers on yet. prob will raise the rear a tad bit and lower the front more. It looks so good in person, hard to capture the look with the phone camera. throttle response have improved, the car feels faster as well. and looks amazzzzing. im very happy with this mod.
