Default Sneak Peak At SuperBlack350z's New Ride !

i know ive been inactive for awhile now. been busy with work but finally paid off. I was in the market for a 2009 M3 Coupe, actually put in an offer at a local dealership but was declined and my offer was higher than book value

though the interior was simple layout, harmon kardon system sounded very good and car's handling and power was good, something was left to be desired. when you are about to actually spend a good amount on a car, this feeling wasn't going to cut it. interior noise was loud, kind of boring with the power, interior was small compared to the e46 m3. all it had going was a really nice exterior.

Test drove the mercedes c63, torque monster but that's about it. interior was decent, exterior was decent. what drove me away are the maintenance and hourly cost of repair and a sound system that was less than par for such an expensive car.

Now comes the Lexus ISF. i knew very little about this car because honestly, i always thought this car was more expensive than the m3 so i never looked twice. Exterior is beautiful. I think the is350 is nice and this is a wider and more aggressive looking one.

Very fast car. The car is super quiet inside, has power in every gear, shifts. The car had the first 8 speed direct shift tranny. the typical f1 tranny shifts at .5 of a second. this one shifts at .1 the tranny has a torque converter that works only in first gear and is off the rest of the gears. very smooth , quiet and predictable. This car runs mid 12's stock down to the tires and owners have gotten low 4 sec 0-60. the exhaust note sounds like a tuned muscle car. just something you have to hear for yourself in person. interior is beautiful and the upgraded mark levinson surround sound system is great if you are an audiophile.

Found a 2010 certified with full warranty from lexus, fully loaded to the max with everything the car offered. bluetooth, navi, dvd player, mark levinson 14 speaker surround sound, rear motorzed back up camera, blue stitching on the interior, brembos, bbs wheels, sun roof, bixenon hids with hid fogs.

Got it shipped here and enjoying every bit of it. Im doing a full detail next weekend myself, adding a few goodies i already ordered.

here is two pics before my galaxy s3 took officially died. i will have updated pics when my new phone arrives. I love the 350z and will always. it's time to part it out and sell it and start a new journey. i will still help people on here through PMs like i always have. Hope you guys enjoy.

Noo you and Toby were suppose to stay twins..jk. Nice new ride. Going from the z to a more luxurious car is a really nice feeling. I'm more of a coupe guy though. If only they offered the is350 or isf in coupe and manual I'd be sold.

Very nice! Congrats on the new ride. I'm actually looking for ISF and C63 AMG sedans right now. The only thing I don't like about these sedans are there aren't much legroom in the rear.

congrats! I jumped on the IS wagon as well with the 350. ISF is a lot of great car for the money and she will treat you well.

Love it man!

I'm trying to talk one of my good buddies into an ISF. Good to hear you like it. Got any plans for it? I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to aftermarket parts for it.

Nice upgrade. IMO this has the best looking exterior out of your other choices. I actually drove to greenville to test drive a used is250 last month. Almost bought it but interior was beat up.

im doing just I/H/E, coilovers, and cf accents to make it look good but classy but simple. There is currently no tuning software for this car but Headers alone is a 38whp gain. exhaust is 20+whp gain and intake is 12whp gain. all together, it will put down 60whp and 45-50wtq with no tuning on the stock map. that is one of the reasons i chose the ISf. 420whp 360wtq for under 2500 dollars in mod. and this car gets 27-30 mpg when i want to. that should be a sin.

thanks. exterior wise, i also do think it looks best in person. interior road noise was probably the most important thing and this is the quietest car of all three.

Never seen one....looks sweet.

BTW a typical f1 car shifts much faster then .5 seconds, I think .05 secs would be more in the ballpark.

Congrats! The IS F is a pretty awesome car indeed. Seems like the standard refinements you'd expect from a Lexus without being bored.

I wish the Z could do that...

Hows the extra power feel?
