my new toy ;-)
so after spending so much money on the Z and her finally being where i want her (for now) i decided to pick up something cheaper to mess with and modify for the low since i want to keep my truck the daily driver and reliable... found a great deal on a beat up 95 miata and got to work. after about 3 months of cleaning repairing and researching what was wrong w her i got her running smooth and repaired her main issues. she has come a very long way in 3 months of ownership from completely stock... this thing is a real blast to drive and autox giving the Z some rest from the track has been nice( not to mention its much more competitive then the Z was) btw i picked the miata up for 1500
anyways on to pictures...
when i bought her

took some shots w the sibling ;-) when i first got coilovers on dropped her down

so far switched out the beat up steering wheel for a 350mm dish n hub/ repaired tons n tons of broken interior peices n bushings(shifter/diff all sorts) test pipe to full exhaust, couple cosmetic things like H4 conversion connected to HID conversions, red out tails blacked out few things tow, then megan ez street coilovers, and xxr 002 wheels 15x8 0 offsets square on ss595 federals... next month will prob bring a X brace roll bar and a front sway bar..soon after that seats. the stock 1s are torn pretty bad and the seat covers are cheezy
then the obvious changed all fluids diff tranny motor radiator and a full tune up runs great and gets around 30mpg w me ripping around town. for prob 90hp it feels amazingly quick

Very nice MX5 op, and she looks great! I have always wanted one of these cars and I even modded a few of them for friends. The flying Miata turbo kit has your name on it if you want a little more umph to the tires!http://www.flyinmiata.com/turbos/turbosNA8.php
ya i wasnt sure at first then found 1 for the low and said how bad could be it. but i couldnt be happier. deff needs some more power tho.

thanks its deff a blast to drive. esp because all the old farts see how "low" it is and dont think it will perform at this height. then i catch up to within .5 of a second to there times and they are on star specs/ rs-3s and that was before an alignment and a slight raise.
Nice Miata. I got myself one last year and built it into a little track toy. Its a fun car and parts are so cheap compared to the z.
Here is a semi recent pic of mine.
