you just got your car repainted correct? i was looking at ur post im jealous...thinking about getting mine repainted, how much did it cost you? i think im going to get it repainted once im done with cosmetics...the lip/diffuser would actually look good but im thinking of getting a more aggressive front bumper with a lip so far nismo v3 front bumper or SL2 front bumper...how do you life the rpf1s so far any plans for your Z? great looking Z by the way

I love the stock bumper on the 06+ Zs so i didnt wanna change it, im not big on aftermarket body parts since they normally fit like a$$, i did consider the Nismo V3 but decided against it. I like the RPF1s but love my LMGT4s, just wish they were more aggressive :/ . as for plans im just gonna stay N/A for a bit longer, long tube headers and a tune for sure , thinking about cams and max it out at the track that way and then go Single turbo like the boosted performance kit. Probably nitrous in the meanwhile lol .

Stock Nissan paint fawkin sucks so bad, my sideview mirrors litterally had no clear coat on them and the base coast was coming off as well , A-pillars were well on their way with the mirrors, hood, roof and hatch were fading and really hazy. Nissan wouldnt do **** about it. Cant really go by my price since I got a hell of a deal, since my good friend is a painter I paid $1200 for the whole paint job, he basically lost money on the job. I dissassembled and assembled everything for him, even had the rear glass and quarter windows pulled (if you pull your rear glass order a new seal from nissan $120ish).
Other friend does body work and i gave him like $50 to weld the wiper, antenna and rear Nissan burger holes. Its good to know people haha
But if you need a number to go by a decent paintjob is gonna cost you about $4,000-$5,000 more depending on bodywork and such. Mine wouldve been easily more than that which i would have NEVER paid lol probably would have just wrapped it if I didnt know my friend.

 

I have owned a redline Z, and I agree that all the plastic components on the car would fade eventually and crack. Especially the side mirrors!!!

Bolivian - loving the black rpf1 on black. It really brings out the dark tinted windows and the black handles. Red and black is my favorite!
