Ya that knocking is the uca bottoming out. Your new uca are bigger at the ball joint which gives you less play before knocking. Stiffen the front and it should help

Btw wheels look good

Car looks good... and its always nice to see the Z community flip flop on hating rep wheels/varrdogs to accepting them.

It's looking great. I think the look and the fitment of the new wheels are a home run.

I'm liking the look of the new wheels even if they are the replicas, keep us updated on how they hold up

I looked through the pages and didn't see anything about this, have you gotten it dyno tuned since u got your 4.08s? Interested in seeing the results from those.

i had it slightly re-tuned a while back after i had the 4.08s installed. it was hotter than the day when i first hit 292/264, and was only making 286/260 with the 4.08s. either way though, the car is absolutely faster.

Gears dont really change your dyno numbers

Bmurray,

Been following ( not really on purpose ) your build, and you changes....must be do to the southeast stuff, and you a fourm junkey like me...

Great dyno numbers, and really even better 1/4 times. I have yet to see below 13.9, I think like you, csc slave issues. Had to buy the Zspeed one as well, no install yet though...Have you got your clutch/flywheel installed yet?

I was definately pissed when you jumped on those mirrors, saw them like hrs afterward....Dayum!

Anyway, car looks good. If I may criticize though, please get rid of the megan everything and the rep wheels. Someone mentinoed that the community has been back and forth on the varrdogs....But the fact of the matter is they are still a cheap, not well made version of the real thing...Other than that, gotta love your passion for change and drive to progress the z. As others stated, some rpf1 can be as cheap as 1000 bux....
All good though man, hope to see you at some events around.

appreciate it.

1) there are plenty of z's that have gone under 13.9 lol, actually the 13.5 time of mine was horrible.. that was before the gears/slicks. im hoping for 12.9 or better when i go next.
2) trying to get rid of the megan seats, but not sure yet.
3)not getting rid of the wheels. these are by far my favorite set i have had for the z yet.

Don't listen to him, there's no problem with cast wheels on a car this isn't a purpose built racecar. Those wheels are too damn sexy.

The new rear looks good, goes a lot better with the nismo than the nismo endcaps imo!
