Have you ran this at the track recently? I know you said you wanted sub 13s and was wondering if you got there or not.

 

Haven't had a chance to yet... been pretty busy and been on vacation for like 3/4 of the past month. then just yesterday slit my leg open because of a knife that was put down into a big bag.. 13 stiches, can't put pressure on my leg for a few days. just been kind of hectic. but i do plan to go to the track as soon as i can!

 

Damn that sucks. Hope you get better man. I'm going on vacation this week as well and of course the last two weeks they haven't had an open test n tune at the track and they are this week while I'm gone. FML. I have it planned with my wife to finally go July 26. I'm hoping for sub 14s but that might be a little much to ask for a guy whose never gone to the track but I know how to drive. I would like 13.5 after I get a K&N drop in and a tune.

 

yeah that should definitely be achievable. you going on street tires? i'd recommend picking up a set of MT et streets you wouldnt believe how much they help out... street tires suck haha

 

I've thought about picking up some slicks but I want to get into a routine of going so I know I need them. That might be something I get next year. I want a turbo kit too but I don't need it right now. I just want more experience driving my Z at the strip. I want sub 13.5 before I get a turbo because if I can't do that with my mods and tune I get I don't need a turbo, I just need to be a better driver. I look forward to seeing your results from the drag strip once you get better

 

Even though I despise replica wheels, the car looks good overall. Better than most.

Sweet Progress!! You got any pics up close with your wheels and rotors? I'm looking to get mine replaced with drill slotted and some Volks and wanted an idea of how much you can notice the drill/slots.

 

if you sell or trade your car we can swap out your headlights real quick next person wouldnt even notice it........
