lol, i pretty much always come out on top whether it be trading up, or just getting really good deals on stuff.


Well since it's been cold theres really no hope for fixing first gear traction issue.. lol. but when it was warmer, my 275/40 Sumi HTR 3s actually do really well.

drone is worst on the interstate when the tach is sitting around 3k. i mean driving around town if you keep the rpms around 2k its not terrible.

 

Noticed my car was squealing really bad and the belts are in good shape. Turned out to be a faulty idler pulley bearing. Got one on order now.

 

Can't tell from the pic if the bearing is bad or not. Does it have a play or something? My buddy's Z is making some weird squealing noise too in that area.

 

lol yea maybe it's because its chilly out. Mine is 245/45

Yep, bearing has a lot of play, and when you spin it, you can hear the whistling/metal noise.

So whats new.... well, finally picked up a DSLR. Got a Nikon D3200 body. Went ahead and snagged a 50mm f/1.8g lens. I love it so far... Downloaded lightroom also.. not a pro by any means but I've been messing with it and it's pretty cool. After I get better at this photography stuff I may make a separate thread for just pics I take (not just of my car)

Also picked up a Seibon carbon fiber hatch. It isn't perfect. fitment isn't perfect. the fairlady z emblem was on there already and i'm not sure what was used to put it on and i'm scared to mess with it lol. so it'll stay for now. but all in all, i'd say the hatch doesn't look bad. i am going to mess with the hatch latch to see if i can adjust it down a little.

Lastly, plastidipped my wheels vintage gold to see how they will look if/when i get them painted gold. i have no paint experience whatsoever.. and i've never plastidipped anything short of emblems lol.. but they came out decent. i like the gold look for sure though.

Not sure about the carbon hatch unless you get a carbon hood and a pillars but overall I still like it. Nice work.
