I went through all 58 pages, what a build! One of my favorite Zs out there. Unfortunately I sold mine a year ago. I would love to get one when i'm employed again and tune the hell out of it

So this happened today...
Me and my buddy were leaving work (he drives a big jacked up truck with the huge mud tires and all that) and i got in my car and had the door open for just a second and he took off and his wide *** tires snagged my door
Got quoted $861 to repair & repaint the door. But i found a door locally for about $100 so going to just grab that and have it repainted. Went ahead and bit the bullet on a new kit as well. been wanting to change it up for a while now and finally am. should be back looking better than ever in a few weeks.
Glad to have a fairly local buddy that gives me a great deal on painting and does better jobs than most nice body shops around here.

i want a poster of your z on my wall!
but on the note of you getting a new kit...you can send me that front bumper and side skirts, ill even pay shipping! :0
But actually since we have the same color, if youre letting it go for a decent price i might buy it.
That sucks that youre door got messed up, but atleast you got a replacement for cheap!

Bmurray, when my sides were installed they used some black chrome bolts that have longer heads on them; I think that they just got them at the local ACE hardware. It turns out that I like them and recommend them; they look a lot better than these pics show but here are some examples (using the flash on camera):

Thanks guys.
I test fitted them today. And while they weren't horrible, I would have spent the extra $100 for Shine if I were to do it over. I'd say the sides are 7/10 and the rear is 9.5/10. But it's going to still look great. I had to shave a few areas. Just anyone that's in the same boat as me, get the shine parts. But these are wayyyyyy better than some duraflex pieces I have seen.
My Nismo VIS sides did fit a lot better than these out of the box.

Can't wait to see how it turns out. Are you going to do two tone or all silver?
