It's amazing how the stock 2jz mounts just drop right into place.

First time I've ever heard of this swap, pretty incredible. Post some more pics/videos as soon as you can. What are you going to about the tac? Just leave it be?

How much did labor, wiring and tuning run you. What about the dash and any dummy lights. AC works like normal along with all other functions that are factory.

How did you get the stock twin turbo to fit? I would think it hits the shock towers.

Another question...how are the other functions of the car working like A/C, dash, etc.?

I'm a noob at this swap and still researching so information you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Tach will give an issue. He's using the stock Supra mounts which brings the engine closer to the bumper, so I am assuming they just fit. It's possible for the engine to be shifted toward the intake side as well, I am not 100% on how the mount layout is of a Supra.

To be completely honest, this swap isn't worth it using the stock twins. I wouldn't even consider it.

He hasn't logged on since July so I doubt he will be here anytime soon to help anyone out.

My buddy's 1jz swapped M3 also done by the same mechanic.

M3 was completely built from the ground up with all mounts and accesories needed fabricated by Hector ( the mechanic) huge shout out to him'

On my car he did an amazing job, from making custom mounts to doing all the welding and all the wiring. He knew I was working with a very short time frame due to my move to Jersey and he completely finished this entire swap in 2 weeks with the car running perfectly! Also thanks to the tuner Andre for coming on short notice late at night and starting the car for us! If anyone wants his number (Hector) to do any kind of work hit me up there's is pretty much nothing this man can't do and I highly recommend his work.

Thanks for looking!
how can i contact hector so he can give me an estimate for a 2jz swap

That is Funny, I think I have owned this car for about 2-3 years now! LOL. I can tell by looking at the parts & the cuts in the radiator core support.... It is fast & fun, but the Harness was a butcher job.....

More often than not, engine swaps are the demise of a car. Mainly because the person wasn't an expert at TWO platforms... yes, you really should be an expert at both platforms you are combining. Otherwise your swap will turn into a can of worms NOBODY can help you with or be willing to even touch.
