Mati350Z, I just applied it directly on top, no sanding. You can't see the texture through the 3M CF vinyl.

radiocrash, only suspension mod are Tein S-Techs. I have spacers as well to give it a more flush look.

Thanks, e30cabrio

Lol, DrummerGirl. I love my new camera, it's insane how fun it is! Thank you for the compliment! It's a slow and steady build, but she's coming along

Thanks, Bmurray. It's a Nikon D3100 and I'm using the 18-55mm lens.

The d3200 is nice. I had one for 3 weeks or so, until I went to the Bronx zoo and it somehow came loose from the strap, dropped and rolled down a hill. I was upset but it was kinda funny. I returned it and haven't picked up another one yet. What I like most about it is that it had a dummy mode, basically teaches you what settings to place the camera in based on the type of shot you want. Nice camera for $500 bucks.

Yea, the "Guide" mode is pretty neat when you're learning

How's the quality/fitment? I'm guessing you used 3M tape then? They're so cheap that I may buy one just to see if I like it or not

I'm actually very pleased with both quality and fitment. Yes, I used 3M tape with a nice prep cleaning of both areas and a heat gun to promote adhesion.

In the second to last picture you can see how it hugs the window border perfectly. The carbon fiber looked great and the packaging was surprisingly protective. For the price, I don't regret this piece one bit.

very nice. I can't even remember how man tickets I paid for no front tag while cruising in Seaside Heights. The excuse was always the same...."officer the shop just installed the kit and the bracket never came in!" their reply was always the same "That sucks!". lol Never did put it on.

Nice job on the wrapping. NO patience for that here.

Thanks, mytwozs! Lol, and I know exactly what you mean about Seaside. I don't take my Z there ever. When I go there, I'll take my truck.

It's like the shadowy place in Lion King.
