Default Jbakes727 04 progress thread

Just wanted to share my progress of the mods on my Z. It is a 2004 Enthusiast. Bought it with 78k and now it is at 86k. I've had my Z for about a year now and I think I have made some pretty good progress with it so far.

On 6/11/12 My Z looked like this when I bought it.

9/2/12. My first "performance" mod was a K&N typhoon intake.
Jbakes727 04 progress thread-intake.jpg

10/24/12. Then of course I added some LEDs. Not pictured are dome and trunk LEDs.

12/20/12. Then eventually got around to coilovers. BC-Br type with rear camber & toe kit.

Results for now.

2/2/13. Threw on some berk test pipes

5/14/13. Stock bulbs were going bad. Replaced with 5k.

Really nice and tasteful mods! I like it alot, Doing everything the right way!!
I recommend eventually getting 06+ headlights and tailights. Personally I think they change the look tremendously.
**But Id say to choose a different front bumper or just take off those canards. I feel they are tacky/ricey . but hey. your build not mine

Keep us updated!!

Hes talking about the front bumper on the last pic you posted of what your basing your build off of. Idk what hes calling canards? I've always called them splitters or a diffuser of some sort....but like he said to each his own....IMO I love that front bumper/and the lip combo and the splitters.....Keep up the good work!

The proper term is canards. He's being sarcastic lol if you look at his profile pic he has them on his Z. I like them, they just aren't for me. The canards give it more of a performance look/track look and that's not exactly what I'm going for. To each their own.
