Default My orange Z

Just wanted to share how my Z sits today after about 8months of owning it. Not a giant forum user but a big browser as I used a lot of posts/guides/etc from this forum to do pretty much everything I've done to the car (lip/headlights/taillights/jwt clutch + flywheel/painting the wheels and few other little things here and there). My car is pretty much where I want it to be at besides getting some wheels eventually in its lifetime so I can have both summer and winter wheels + a drop, and maybe getting actual vinyl wrap where I have some plastidipp (yea i know im sorry you can hate if you want XD ). Sorry for the crappy pictures still trying to figure out my new phone's camera >.<. Feel free to share your love/hate thoughts etc I wont mind I love my car!

Thanks ! Love solar orange as well the reason why I bought the car. Could have had a few other colors with less mileage and cheaper price but this was still the cleanest Z out of all the ones I looked at and my favorite color so had to take it!!

I did that on my Z. Spent $120 for both (went 20mm/25mm) I couldn't justify paying $2000 for new rims/tires on a $7000 car

I think the taillight tint is necessary. I probably wouldn't have went as dark, but red/orange clash hardcore

I was thinking of a light coat on them if I were to tint them at all. I didn't want to make all my lights useless rofl. With the rear tint on my glass I can barely see the reverse lights at night to begin with haha! I appreciate the ideas!!

@iideadeyeii

I did think they came out a little dark for me as well but w.e. I may take another weekend and strip them down and make them one coat lighter but a decent amount of the red still shines through the day with the sunlight you just don't see it in the pictures.

Haha I pretty much asked for that but I dont mind opinions are awesome. I understand the whole hate for it and rightfully so because It looked great for the first few months now slowly starting to look not so great so It will be taken off when I get my car into the tint/vinyl shop again. All thats dipped is that lower middle part of the bumper and my doorhandles so I didnt go crazy like some people do haha! As far as my tail lights tinted. I get both sides from people I know. I get hate and I get love. I've had tinted tails on almost every car that I've owned whether they were professional done or just a vht job. I haven't seen any aftermarket tails that I really liked for the Zs so figured I'd make my stocks how I want them. My theme is how it is because Orange is my favorite color.. If I had the money I would repaint my bike in my background in one of the pictures to match my car hahaha. I think black and orange go so well together( the reason for all the black accents). I get crap ton of compliments everywhere I got but there is that random person who will be like "HAHA NICE PUMPKIN ON WHEELS BRO" but the compliments out way the bad! Thanks for all the comments and opinions guys keep em coming live the input!

Thanks! Its primer, gloss black, and clear. Did it myself stripped them down sanded em and took a weekend and painted them off the car. They need a a fresh coat as the winter beat them up pretty good. I wont plasti dip rims.. tried it once on them and it never turns out right on wheels. Always peels and break dust is very HARD to clean off. Just looks very crappy on wheels.

Yea its not for everyone but I love it. I do try to keep it clean but it helps that the previous owner took very good care of the car besides a few chips and scuffs that I either hid or touched up. It has 90k on it and you wouldn't know if you looked at the engine bay or underneath..

Yea plasti doesn't look too good on wheels. Its more suitable for smaller projects. And yea I plasti my wheels and its horrible with break dust when it needs cleaning. For a sec your wheels looked hydro dipped I think that's what they call it.

First off, nice car. It looks great. I personally like all the black accents with the orange.
I have a recommendation that nobody else has so far... I think a $20 rear wiper delete will clean up the back of the car more than you would expect. And if you get a delete like I have, the black piece that replaces it would go nicely with your accents
