I also learned a valuable lesson from this experience, never date anyone in the office. I still have to walk by her (she's the receptionist) everytime I go into the office. Fortunately, I work in outside sales, and don't spend that much time there.

(she was pretty cute, though! I doubt if I could have been wise enough to say no...)

That's right Pat, rub it in!
Some of us don't have the luxury of clear weather year round. I just hope you Z doesn't fall into an earthquake crack, get caught in a wild fire or covered in a mud slide.
That snow is left over from Tuesday. I took the Z into the dealer for service early in the morning, only to pick it up in the middle of the snow storm. Not too bad on the roads, until I got it home. After 15 minutes of trying to get up my driveway (yes, that slight incline in the pics), I had to roll it back into the street, clear the 1" of snow and throw some salt down. The moral of the story, if there is a 1% chance of snow, the Z stays in the garage.

Don't mean to rub it in...As a matter of fact it's raining here today No measureable amounts you understand but my baby will stay in the garage
I do think about you and Bonz and others having to endure the winters while our temps 'Dip' to the low 70's. This would be a great place to visit or enjoy a seminar (Cough..Cough) this time of year

I'm already working on it Victor!
I went to one shop yesterday that sells the APR, which isn't out yet. Should be available in a few weeks. I went to another shop today that sells the GIAC. He plugged in and checked my codes or something and is letting me know if it will work. Looks like either one gains about 45 hp and over 100 ft lbs of torque. Not bad for $500!

No, that is a superb gain for the money!! It sounds as if what they do is raise the boost level of the turbo for a lot of the power, if not all of it! Do they say what PSI they raise it to?

I got this off the GIAC webpage:
"17 lbs of boost in the mid range, and 14 lbs at 6000 RPMs. The stock program was mapped at 11 lbs and 7 lbs respectivly."
I was at a GIAC installler in Chicago yesterday. He told me that pretty soon they are coming out with a chip that allows you to change between 4 different programs by remote control: stock, 93 octane (the standard program), 100 octane and valet. This would be cool because I can switch it back to stock before I take the car to the dealer for service.

Hmm, that sounds pretty good! The dealer wouldn't be able to tell that a different chip is in there? I guess they would have to be looking for something like that in order to be able to tell....
