lol! i lived on the border of TX/NM in a farm town. Air quality was a serious issue there....nothing the base or the town would ever recognize but people would go take physical assessments ( mandatory per military) and come back to work hacking up a lung, sneezing and feeling like ****.
if the wind was blowing right, it would smell like the worst port-o-potty you've ever been in. When i was deployed to AFG they had an open sewer system, the town in lived in, in New Mexico, smelled identical on days.

Every time I read/hear someone complain about the smog laws here, I just look out the window at the blue skies (beautiful today after the rain washing all the pollen away!), smile and know that these types of comments bear me out. Laff....
Actually surprised to hear Mal talk about SoCal.... when I went to school there (and visited for training and stuff when I worked for Datsun), some days I could barely see across the street. I visited recently and it's NOTHING like it used to be - but I guess still problematic.

Last week i was driving home from a meet & the clutch pedal got real soft and stuck at about the half way point. $hit! starting researching potential issues & then just let it sit for a few days while i thought about it.

I only replaced what was in the reservoir & pumped the clutch about 25 times. Replaced it again, pumped the clutch another 25 times. I did this about 4 times. Then went on a 30mi drive and came home to replace it again.
It was quite bad, as was the Diff & Trans fluid. Should have paid closer attention prior to my x-country trek!
With that being fixed just in time for Import Face Off, i decided to show the car. The judging sheet was like nothing id seen before. 1 guy judged 200+ cars and all you did was write down your name & car make/model. No mod list. Meh.

It was a glorious 70 degree day & I was able to see a Nismo GTR in person. What could be better?

Wow dude your car looks better than eva. The same thing happened to me with the clutch fluid. While changing my clutch and slave cylinder my mech told me i had to flush my whole hydraulic system, aparently over time as part wear out with the fuid inside it created this black gunk in the system. He recommended to change the the csc and the cmc.

Had these for over a year, figured it was time to put them in.
Judging by the rest of the fluids & regular maintenance items in the rest of the car i, i thought these would be far worse. I was shocked in a good way.
Soon after my long *** trip to NC, my clutch pedal decided to stick...After putting it off for a few months, I limped it to a buddy's house & finally got it fixed. Just in time for me to leave to SC for work. lol
Replaced the Master & the Slave. It was probably from the disgusting fluid but I wasn't taking any chances. I was tired of having it sit in the garage.
My idea of neglected.
Got home from SC on Wed...drove up on Sat. to Wake Forest for a C&C. Most common question, Is it a wrap? Followed up by, Is it a factory color?
