Maybe so(on sunless days and at night) but it shows all the dirt, scratches, swirl marks, and absorbs too much heat/UV rays. It's a color more suited to luxury sedans/SUVs than Sports cars, in my opinion. Silvers look MUCH better than black in the sunshine--check Txstyle's pictures for proof.

TXSTYLE, still has the best looking Z hands down that I have seen. I am not talking about those ricers that put gull wings on and neon lights, his Z is just plain good looking...

props..

When I drive mine and its Stock with window tint and Nismo cats people just go that silver color is the best color !! then they proceed to ask what kind of car it is...lol

So Siver Z's are sweet

And I quote Blue from OLD SCHOOL..."Thank you sir!"

What I always have attempted to acomplish with my cars is "SubtleTastefulness". Simply put... Your regular passer-by that says..."Wow! That is a VERY nice/sharp Z!" or "There is something different but really nice about that Z!" I've had the opportunity to install a bodykit, but once I lowered it, and installed my perfect wheels... I changed my mind. I will say, the only external addition I would like/plan, is a Veilside Lip. Painted to match of course.

Having owned several Black cars, I must agree here. At night a Black Car (if it's clean & waxed) is stunning. And it's still nice in the daytime. But......... Silver just "GLOWS" on a Sunny day!
Not to mention you see ALL of the cars lines!

Silverstone was my first choice. The other shade of silver was my second choice (name escapes me). Black was my third choice and the color of my previous car (Celica).

I would not even consider other colors. I like classic car colors that never register as trendy (Remember when champagne and forest green cars were everywhere?). Also, I wanted colors that would present lots of easy matching options in terms of wheels and interior accents.

Love silverstone!

I bought it from a US dealer so I assume it is USDM . . . it did come with Japanese install instructions though.

My understanding is that the two are different but I am not sure how.

Here's a quick one of mine before I installed the lowering springs. I'll get some updated pics with the car lowered, soon.
