Default Liquid Aluminum - "be like water"

I don't see many posts on Liquid Aluminum, so I thought I'd
post some of my pics. I really like the way Liquid Aluminum
changes the way it looks in various lighting. I'm hoping it
will add some value later on, since it's not available anymore.

If you lowered ur car, your rims would look a thousand times better, just put some springs on it or something

I would really like to see the Liquid Aluminum Z next to a Chrome Silver Z.
I really can't tell the difference.

Not feeling the rims either.....

After seeing CS long enough, it starts to look like silverstone compared to LA.

Pretty funny, I have this exact same setup and Ive never received any negative comments...the drop does make a big difference though.

Nice ride genji! One of the best Ive seen, but Im biased!

Nice setup!
What did you do to lower it?

I've been told the Racing Hart Type CX (Multi Piece) Wheels
are some of the strongest and lightest available. I think these other guys like those spinner things....

I dont think they are any stronger or lighter than the average wheel seeing as how they are cast and not forged...

I am lowered on HKS LS+ coilovers. Its about a 1.5 inch drop or so. We didnt actually measure it, just kept going lower (counting the turns) till it looked right

I saw a liquid aluminum in person once and i really liked it. It looks very different than the normal silver color.

Did you buy it from the dealership with the wheels? If so, was it used. I think thats the car that the GM of Nissan of McKinney was driving for a while. I like the wheels.

Man i love my L.A. 350 But do your front and rear bumpers appear as if they don't match the paint unless u look at then from that certain angle? Me and another LA owner in NY have this propblem and we're trying to get Nissan to repaint(hell we spent more $ for paint NOT to match?!?!)

Its true that the paint doesnt match exactly on the bumpers, but I dont think this problem is exclusive to us LA owners.

Your right! We went up there on Labor Day "just to look around" They told me LA was gonna be hard to get, so I said OK, see ya.... Then they said "But wait!... the owner is driving a LA demo" After much negotiating we made a deal; it had about 2200 miles on it, and the wheels of course. It's got all the options including XM. We really like it.

I went up to the dealer today and took some pics of Chrome Silver and Silverstone and then made this composite.

Nice job Genji! Heres a picture taken sometime last year. From right to left, LA, CS, SS. The difference is subtle, but noticable.

the liquid looks good, but in the pics, it looks pretty close to the CS. just looking at the pics, i cant justify ppl paying extra $1G or so for this option....maybe i'll change my mind if i see it in person.

You can tell the difference...especially at night. it almost looks white or lit up. the dealership told me that the difference is that it doesnt have any silver flecks in it. gives it a cleaner more metallic look. i went for the extra grand and i think it was well worth it. then again...could be im nuts.
