MICZ - That was a little harsh bro. True, it could have been sent in a pm, but personally I don't see any harm in posting it in this thread, except is causes a thread hijack. Yeah I will be at the meet.
Any further discussion of the meet can we please in another thread. If anyone else on this board feels the same way 350Track does, I officially apologize for ZOS. We are just a bunch of good ole boys who love the Z as much as anyone else on this forums. We also enjoy getting together and holding meets with other people with 350Z's. We never mean to step on people's toes, or come off as the "Jehovah's Witness" of 350Z clubs. We simply wish to share our passion with other drivers and members of this board.

If you are worried about the weather consider this.
Compare you car to the other cars there. We will all be dynoing in the same conditions so if Joe Blow dynos at 250 and you dyno at 220 and the only difference from your car to his is that he has the ever powerfull NISMO radiator cap. Then you better take you a** out and get one.
I second 350track

What you don't know is that I'm working on a prototype NISMOFO radiator cap. I just need to be sure it clears the hood..haha.
I was gonna do with and w/o Nismo radiator cap runs.....haha.
Actually my concerns (for my own car) are far from a lower dyno run number...I just don't need to be boosting it like that in this heat with stock cooling on the car....I'd just rather not.
But I'm there! Maybe I'll take some videos for you guys.

well if there is alot of you guys going, you shouldn't really need me to be tying up a dyno to dyno a stock car right? i'll be there but with 12+ already coming... i'll spectate... still sounds like alot of fun though... we'll just have to see when i get there...

Not everybody there will dyno, I don't think. Plus, who said anything about us not wanting you to "tie up a dyno to dyno a stock car"? Plus, once you start modding for performance and put your car on a dyno, you're gonna wish you had dyno'd back when you were stock.

Just a little update:
Z_freak and I went out to HPPR today and checked the place out. It's a relatively small shop, but it has a LOT of cars being worked on. We were probably there for a good 2.5 hours just talking to Ozzie and his crew and a couple of his customers (Greddy TT Z puttin down 481 whp / 478 tq & Vortech SC Z puttin down 390 ish from 360 ish after gettin tuned by HPPR). They seem pretty knowledgeable on what they're doing and trustworthy, so we shouldn't have a problem. I'm glad I chose this shop, but let's hope that doesn't change any time soon.
As far as the issue of heat goes, I really don't think it'll be too much of a big deal as the shop will probably have lots of airflow if both front and back doors are open during our pulls.
Also, the lunch will be paid for, thanks to North Texas Nissan. So, if you want free grub, make sure to be there by 11:30 am when we count heads.
P.S. - Hopefully, we can get the stock Z's to dyno first. That way we can see the relative gains from your mods. Right now we have both stock non-revup Z and a stock revup Z. They know who they are. Hope both of you guys can make it by 10:00.
and as a reminder....

Here is my update, I haven't been to HPP Racing yet.....but I just realized yesterday that this used to be Speedworks. I had my 4.10 gears and subframe connectors installed there. My brother also had his Mustang dynoed there. Anyways, I'm not sure who is still left from Speedworks and who is new....but the shop used to be called Speedworks before it closed down.
I've got that noise coming from my RHS turbo area, so hopefully Ozzie can diagnose that for me.

Lol.. small world.
I'm getting excited about the dyno day. I think Chris is right.. the temps will be under 100, we should have some breeze, etc. I think it will be a good day to dyno!
And I like the idea of the stockers going first. Let us modded guys cool off first (especially those with niggling RHS turbos).
Hey Track...if Ozzie confirms it isn't the turbo and instead is something insignificant (like a heat shield) then are u gonna dyno with us for the hell of it?
I'll be gettin there 10-10:30. Earlier the better for me. And then I'll be good and hungry for the free grub! Woohoo!

j....some of us will be there @ 9:30 so anytime between then and ten is good....
I second Chris on the shop, they need some house cleaning but overall they seem very knowledgable and have a good understanding of modding cars considering they have like 5 Cobra's pushing 600-1500 hp......
