My best time slip shows an 1/8 mile with an 8.8 but I got a 13.6 and 13.7 in the quarter mile. Maybe it's because my car is pretty fast from a roll. I think 8.6 should net you at least a mid 13s and if done right, low 13s.

as one guy at the track said to me (you should remember this chris) the ideal RPM for a Z to launch on track was 3.5... which i have to agree...

for my stock Z with B.S. tires... it hooked up nicely and landed in a good area of torque. I would believe that my best time for the day was when i hit that perfectly...
which for having an extra 200lbs in the trunk a low 14 was good IMO...

This may be a silly question but here it goes...

The $10 for spectators is per person not per car right?

So, in other words, if I bring a friend in my car we have to pay $10.00 each.

unless you are like me and my friends back in the day and you have a large trunk with a seat that can lay down...then you just hide 4 people in the trunk and then they come out when you park, all get out through the doors and it doesn't look abnormal.

 

I am indecisive at this time. Tires dont appear to be very meaty for drag racing, so not sure what i'll do if i even go. But since so many are going, i'd really like to watch.

Since I am not racing I could drive my Altima to do this. The back seats fold down and I think 2 full size adults can hide without any problems.

 

Well i wanted to go and since i destroyed mine last thursday i guess, ill have to wait for the next one...
