if anyone is bringing a camera, i would like ask a favor. a lot of forum members have been requesting a clip of my borla td with resonators removed. if anyone could take a short video and post it, many people would be very appreciative.

I don't think he was being too serious, as he added the smiley. Plus, ths short shifter shouldn't be too hard to install. Install it today and test it out on the track tomorrow. Problems solved.

But I'm not sure if I'd be able to help (if I race). If I can't race then I can definitely try to help.

ACTUALLY, since we're getting there around 11 am and the race doesn't start until noon, we have an hour to wait for our cars to cool down and we can do the install at that time.

I have some grease...bought it to put my shifter in actually. Let me know if you want me to bring it.
edit...also, did you get a new socket or bushings?
I have a new socket, i think it was a bit over 15 bucks...so throw me a 20 and i'll give you the socket and grease and possibly assist in the install. It is pretty easy except for getting the shifter into the socket....that part sucked.

^^^You can re-use your stock one but i got a new one. I have a NISMO Titanium Shift **** too, hahaha, not using it, i have one from Top Secret now that is much cooler.
I'll bring the socket just in case you want it, if not then that is fine.
