The HPD Cruise to Galveston was off the hook! I think something like 200 cars and trucks and 20 bikes showed.

Good meeting you too Samantha. I was wondering when you'd finally make it to an event. Don't forget to bring some hot single friends next time. We have too many dudes on the 350z front. lol. That gravel on the bridge scared the ba-jesus out of me. Not good for bikes at all. Wreck hazard for sure. I'll post some pics and videos later. I have to upload them to my computer when I get home.

200 + great turn out and good coordination of the event. Wish I could have made it. Are there more than 1 Galveston cruises per year?

 

hpd is planning 2 more cruises this year... not sure if we are going to galveston though

 

May want to have her ride in a car...sure would hate for THAT to be the excuse for a bike losing to a car!

 

I think a trip to a small town would be better. No traffic to cut through, no tolls, no cops if the right route is taken. Fayetteville, Columbus, Bastrop, Brenham.....taking the backroads of course.

Put down the crack pipe....unless you're running 9s now...there's no point in trying. Gixxer owns....even on one wheel. lol.

 

Oh, I forgot...4 wheels are just WAY slower than 2. My bad. I'd like to see your 9 sec slip with the 750 on 1 wheel!

 

Didn't say I ran 9s. I said its pointless to try unless you're running 9s. And if you're at the power levels to be racing bikes.....you better have slicks, cuz I won't spin at all coming out of the hole. Riding for a good 15-17 years will do that to you. lol. You, on the other hand, will.

I wouldn't have a problem running 9s if I didn't care about top speed. Just changing the sprockets does wonders for 1/4 mile times. Once she's a TWS and MSR junky....she'll have new sprockets...but not while i ride on the street. I like pinning her in the boonies.....

And the last time I took the R6 to the track...the front tire kept coming up the whole way....until I'd switch gears, then back down....then back up again. Not much mind you...but it was off the ground. The gixxer is much worse about it....she lifts up even when I don't want her to.
