that is good advice. I've driven a few cars with some power. (cobra, camaro ss, 70' boss 302). but I would like to learn my car so I know what would work best for me.

 

What about the .7 mile roadcourse that spokes is having an autox at. The Driveway I believe it's called, ever go there?

 

I've heard of the driveway but never actually driven there. I know Rodel went to an autox there last year but didn't know it was a regular thing. I'll have to look into it and maybe I'll attend an event one of these days.

 

Hey, I am down for going to the track on the 30th. My car is pretty much stock for performance mods so it would be fun to see what it can do!

Well depending on the turnout we might try and do 2 meets a month, but for now we are just doing every last friday of the month. But check this thread ofter and see if we might change that to 2 meets a month.

I seem to recall you not even making it down the track the last time we went. All I heard was a loud bang and that was the end of that story. LOL. Ill be happy to run you on the way down to the raceway and see wassup

 

LOL I had actually forgotten about that, I think that ended my drag strip career. Hey are you going to go AutoX with me on Sunday, I forgot to call you and tell you about it lol. It's at the AT&T center this Sunday. Give me a call and let me know.

 

Good advice... I have mods sitting uninstalled because I don't want to change more than 1 thing on my car between track events! My own policy is not to install a mod until I understand why I need it.

Can't wait for the next two track events (MSR and TWS)... new wheels and tires are my mod this time. The wheels are 9 pounds lighter each (I weighed them myself), and are 18" instead of 19"... and the tires are BFG KD's. I'm so addicted...

 

No I cant go anywhere for a while. Im working a lot of hours and dont have anytime. Have fun. Take some good pictures.

 

I might be ready to up to 125 shot for that evening.....I hope to meet a few new folks.....the 30th, see you all there!!!

Yeah thats a good idea, everyone thats going to be there put your name on the list. I think my wife wants to bring drinks and stuff and would like to know how many ppl are going to be there. Food and drink prices at the track are
