How can you launch so high? You will see the vid I have planty of smoke just one of the wheels could not burn. Youtube right now is so slow. 49% downloaded.
Just rev it and dump it. Do the same thing in my z32. Lower the tire pressures and heat them up till it sticks. I don't suggest going lower than 10-12lbs though or else the ride on the top end will be really hairy. Lower them progressively so you get used to the feel of them at speed.
Those tires will slip some on the launch but they're still getting plenty of bite. You need to keep the rpm's up or else they will bog. If you can only heat one tire then it's time for a new diff. Even one hot tire should be good for a sub 2 second launch. My 60ft's are limited by power. I actually had to increase tire pressures to get the best launches as my car simply doesn't have the power to keep these spinning without bogging at the top of first gear. My car works best around 16psi, but with more power I would run lower tire pressures.

well then I guess I will just keep it at 15psi for tomorrow and try and do A better burnout this time with both tires. Maybe the pit guy did not wet the box enough for the tires to slip.

I actualy heard the opposite softer rear suspension setup is better for the launch. But I was thinking about going with Tien.
Lets try and get another one of these ones going but this time it will be on a wendsday. Fridays suck!! Because it gets to packed at the track and you never get enough runs in.
