I'm actually fixing my car right now. I broke a wheel stud launching on the slicks last time. So, since tomorrow's race day for me again, I want all 5 studs to be there. Plus, I'll do another DIY once I get done. Mackie was supposed to help but.. that bastage didn't answer my IMs. I'm not helping him on his sways installation.

Chris, time for a EMU and a tune bro! I smell 12's for you! My Vortech finally goes on this week. Can't wait.

 

Yeah, well, I'm trying to accomplish that w/o any of that stuff. I know I can hit 12s with one or two additional mods. Then I'll get a tune to get deeper into the 12s.

So that means you'll be SC'd by the time we dyno. Great news man!

I should have my 19"s on by the time we dyno, and i might not have picked up that 2nd job so i'll dyno if i have them, won't if i don't... i want to see if they are killing my power any... (should be, but ya never know...)

When u say Mackie are u refering to a guy named JR ? I will have Jotech do the install, getting tuned this Saturday and then again after the cams. So we will have a comparison

 

I am way behind on this but since i just installed Nismo exhaust i definately want to dyno again...any word on this being nailed down yet??

 

No official time yet... but i'm pretty sure the day is 26th of May... that seemed to be the best day for at least majority of the people...

 

Actually, before the forum went down last night, Scott from HPP gave me a call saying that Saturday, May 26th @ 10:00 am was good with them. But when I got to my laptop, the forum had gone down. So the date and the time is set.

Nexx, is uprev doin the install/tune? Chris, you goin to ennis tonight? And I dont know why you would wait to tune it, what else could be done except for a tb, cams, heads, n2o/fi? Tune that b1tch!

 

GolfinZ, unfortunately I my job is preventing me from taking my car down to Austin for the install. Fortunately, HPP is around to do it.

I tried to fix my broken wheel stud, but the goddamn axle nut wouldn't come loose. I even broke one of my tools trying to get it off. I just dropped it off at the dealership, so I should have it fixed later today.

With that said and done, I'm definitely going to go drag racing tonight. I have to leave early though as I have to pick up a friend from the airport. Also, my friend with a stock Tiburon is coming. I told him to get a baseline time before he does any modding. Are you coming? Doors open at 6:00 pm, racing from 7-midnight.

I don't exactly know what I'm going to do, but I'll think of something. I've always done that and it's worked for me. And like I said, I'm not spraying until I get into mid-high 12s.
