Even though I have to be somewhere else, I'm still going to be there. I'll be there for the beginning and for the end. I can't skip my sister's graduation completely. I'm gonna see her walk and come back. At least I'll be there. Most of these guys won't even remember or don't care enough to show. I'm very disappointed with the lack of participation with the TX guys - only few show up frequently. They don't want to drag race, they don't show up at meets, they don't bother to set up track meets.. All talk, no bite.

(Are you guys challenged enough to show up now? )

Yeah North Texas blows... I know there's a lot more DFW Z owners on this board that are active but never show up at our meets.

Seriously, do they want some sort of official invitation letter delivered on a silver platter or something? Maybe you need to give them treats.. you know, like a dog. Or maybe, they need punishment.. like a 3 day ban? haha

Before most of you guys were even on the board or became active on the board, I remember travelling like 80 miles to go to a meet. They weren't even that big. Noobs.

some people on here dont have all that free time to go to the track every weekend or the funds to do so. a lot of people on here work, stuff come up, etc and cant make EVERY SINGLE MEET.

I don't make it to all the meets neither. But when I say I will be there, I will most likely be there. It's far too often when you guys sign up and then when it's time, it's just the usual 4 people. I don't know, I'm just ranting because I got home at 7 am and still haven't slept. Now, I gotta go to the airport. Hopefully, I will see most of you guys there at the dyno day.

Even if a hand full show I AM dynoing regardless. I have add to much crap to pass on the chance to spin the rollers.

If the skunk2 5/8 spacer that I have for sale is not sold by then I will swap it out between runs and see what the difference is. Just so you guys dont get upset I can swap these out in less than 10 minutes.

Their is a guy on G35driver who wants to dyno his duromax truck... should we let him? If you guys say yes then I say he goes last. Just my .2

I know what your saying, i don't even want to run the risk of breaking something on my Z at the track... i can't have the down time at all, not to mention the cost to fix something, what ever it is...

so track days, i sometimes will go, then mostly cheerlead and take plenty of pictures for you guys... but in terms of racing... sure i might take one or two runs but not too much more than that...

Dyno Days are much less stressful on my car i think, then a cruise and hang out... i'm cool with that... but i'm going to be seriously less frequent due to another job now...

but anything large or very interesting i will do my best to go to... but no promises...

i don't think it was you man... this has been going on for a LONNNG time, people in general say they will be somewhere then never show up...

Realistically, it doesn't matter... cause to my knowledge, none of us are married to one another.... so really... we have no ties... with the exception of one friend telling another that they will do something...

I just think that this was the one that really set off the alarm on the back-outs...

Say what you want about DFW meets but I have met great friends through these meets, maybe our meets are not that big but I can say that I have enjoyed every single one of them....I guess you get out of it what you want...I think those who initially say they will be there every intention too it just things come up by no fault of thier own....

As far as Dyno Day, not many times out of the year we get to do this so if you really want to know what your car can do now is a good opportunity.....if you don't take advantage of it oh well

Yo Mackie...next time you are up at Jotech...ask them what they would charge to install gears in a Z.

you are correct sir! those are mine. they were shaving the fuel rails. i thought it was mighty cool of hpp to actually take the time to take it to jotech and have them shave the rails since they have done it many times already. it was something hpp had never done so they wanted to make sure it was done right plus now they know how to do it for future installs. hpp has a good line of communcation with jotech and forged performance and im sure other shops as well. that can only be to their customers benefit. hpp rocks!
