I was looking at FM 1827, too. I live in McKinney.

Anyway, I can lead this time (Not that I wasn't leading half the time last time).

I was thinking, what if we meet up in McKinney (since if we decide on this route, we'll have to be in McKinney anyway) first? Then from there, I'll lead us to 380, to FM 1827, pitstop, get to 75 via FM 545, then back to where we started.

Remember, that means we're going north from McKinney. If there are any objections, say so now, otherwise, this is the route we're taking.

Also, this seems a lot shorter than our previous cruise, which was definitely over an hour long.

Actually, on second thought, it does seem way too short. I also saw the aerial images of that route. It doesn't seem to have anything special. It's just plain fields and part of the route is just trees on both sides.

If that's still what we want, we can lengthen it to be 380 to FM 1827 to FM 545 to FM 1377 to FM 407 to 380.

Still longer, 380 to 1827 to 545 to 78 to 380.

These are less developed places, so I would imagine very little houses and far apart from each other, more dust than our city roads, and probably 1 lane each way.

If the bikes said he can lay it down pretty good they must be banked or something. Lets do the longest one and start earlier and have dinner at a small town.

I suggest either the middle one (which has been edited in my post) or the longer one.

Middle one will be mostly the same type of country roads, it looks like, with a speed limit of probably 50ish. The longest one will include a "highway," which I'm guessing is probably 1 or 2 lanes per side still, with a speed limit of 60.

The distance of the longest route I've mentioned is less than that of our last cruise. We'll be cruising slower this time, so I'm guessing it'll take about the same amount of time.

Chris since you know McKinny and you are the lead car I say you take charge in the route.

All right. I'm voting for the longest route. That'll have a few curvy, calm, country roads and the last half will be 2 highways (78 and 380), so we don't have to be in a single line the whole time.

I don't think it'll be as exciting as the last one. This one's just more chill and relaxed. Don't blame me if it sucks, as there's really no other route to take.

edit - Mackie, your opinions do NOT matter. Let the adults talk.

I OWN on ALL tracks. Bring it on!

If anybody objects to the selected route (380 to 1827 to 545 to 78 to 380), then speak now. Otherwise, we'll just stick to this.

I would highly recommend adding a little to this. if we start/end at 75 and Eldorado, the road going out past the airport is pretty fun if you don't hit any traffic. there's a lot of great curves out there, both tight 90's and higher speed sweepers.

here's my proposal.
