Yeah, I like the way it looks also.....Do we still need a mid - way point to stop and regroup ?

How many miles do you think the total cruise is ? I'm guessing about 75 miles.???

 

blue ridge seems like a good midpoint to regroup. according to yahoo maps, there looks to be a Tiger One (Exxon?) gas station in town near our turn from Business 78 onto FM-545.

 

is this a normal cruise length? would be cutting down 1377 make it too short?

 

You should have been to our last real cruise. He pretty much went to Forth Worth.

Why don't you want to show your pretty mug to the camera ?

I think It would be cool to have all the cars fanned out and everyone standing next to them, or 2-3 rows of Z's fanned in a semi-circle. What ever you guys are into...I don't care. If you want a shot of your car and you see me with a camera walking around then just tell me to shoot your pic.

Some driving shots would be cool also, so hopefully I can get next to a few of you and get some nice shots while we are moving.

Yeah, let's try to get a lot of pictures for this cruise.

Also, I took my time to actually go through the cruise route. (You're welcome b1tches) It takes exactly an hour (with no stop) and it's 50 miles for the whole cruise if you go at a leisurely rate. We will stop in Blue Ridge, which basically where 78 and 545 intersect. We can either stop at a parking lot or at a gas station.

I was actually surprised at the road (smooth). There aren't too many turns most will find exciting but they're there. Be sure to watch my speed as there will be instances where a stop sign may come up fast, bump on the road (counted 1 major), and a pothole (only 1). BTW, try not to speed on 380 on the way to 546. There WILL be cops, as I saw 3 tonight.

Oh yeah, don't leave your hand out the window when driving. I had my left arm out and I happened to catch a giant cricket or a moth or something wet/soft in my hand. That didn't feel too good.


Just for fun, I added a pic from my first/second (both in 1 day) Z meet ever. This was back when more people were participating with many FI'd and modified Zs. This particular pic is from the 2nd meet of the day, in Mesquite. (Not everybody from the 1st meet went the 2nd meet) I was stock back then.

You're welcome. Yeah, I figured if I'm supposed to be the leader for the cruise, I should make sure I know all the turns, hazards, estimated time and distance, and whatever.

I'm a mod and a fellow Z owner. I'm supposed [want] to help others out. Also, thank Jim (JDMFairladyZ33) too, because I called him to ask what road I had written down after 78 and 380.
