Rozbeh, we'll see who's going to be TRYING to keep up.
Nick, are you calling me Ninja too or were you referring to Rozbeh?
Vic, I wish you could come. You were by far the closest match to date (out of the ones that actually showed up at the track after my initial challenge). I'd love to see how we do against each other again. I think the only thing I might've done since you saw my Z last was the Fuji exhaust. Other than that, it's exactly the same. I should be in 12s now (or at least 13 flat), given perfect conditions. I should be getting nitrous toward the end of the year and I'll aim for 11.7.

What you need to do is look outside the box. What is your next step with school then what about work and then what do you want for housing. Once those ideas are set then you look what you are driving. You dont want a car to hold you back form some of the finer things like a nice place or extra money to enjoy your schooling(partying). If you are power hungry and the Z looks like it doesn't fit the bill then try to find something in the used market that is easy to mod or already made with a turbo and makes good power. You will not be happy with the power delivery of a porsche or a bmw. The power is to smooth and in turn feels like you a driving slower than you are. Modding those cars is also a lost cause due to price and limited parts. I find you have more fun turning a car into a beast then going and trying to buy one. If you want good power then go FI but if the Z as a whole is not what you want then look at the used market and see what the options are and stay at the same payment and insurance that you are. Then your question will be answered.
Ive never thought about it that way. I will be makin plenty of money when I graduate (50K plus a 5k bonus for signing and 5k bonus for passing the cpa in my first year working). For me, I like to drive my car everywhere so I dont want to have a second car just yet (when I get my ferrari/lambo then the 2nd car will come into play). I just dont know how much I rely on a built vq thats boosted for 400-500rwhp and to be able to drive it every single day. I could get a z06 and have a reliable 400-500 and drive it everyday (I love the look of them so no comments). I plan on saving about 600-1000 a mo. once I start working full time so I can build my 401K, 529 plan, etc...
Schooling is paid for so I dont have to worry about that (thank goodness for smart parents; also what I want to give my kids if they are deserving) Housing will depend on my relationship status but I would want to try and get into a house when Im 27 or 28.

Why are you letting each other drive your cars? If you want the best times, you know who to give it to - I'll be happy to set a record for your cars too.
