Once everything is set, I'll let you guys know. Let's just say that if this doesn't get you guys to come, then I don't know what will.

I called TX Motorplex and they told me that they won't know for sure until late in the afternoon. As of right now, everything is as scheduled.

Check the first post for all the necessary info.

Thats awesome...but I hit up fiber pills early this morning I bet your hurtin, I wouldve been there to help if I didnt have to work. So far the new gaskets have kept it from leaking. Keep the fingers crossed.

The track is OPEN. I just called and re-confirmed.

I will see everybody at Starbucks on Campbell (exit 26) and 75 by 5:00 PM. We'll leave a bit before 5:30 PM, so don't be late.

Before you come, be sure to familiarize yourself with the rules that are posted in this thread or www.texasmotorplex.com. The fee to race is $15. Wear long pants and a sleeved shirt (short or long). Don't wear open-toed shoes. Bring a helmet that meets the snell requirements if you have one and can hit 13s. That's basically everything you guys need to know.

I did all right considering the temperature and humidity levels.

My best time was a 13.392@103.20mph with a 1.884 60'. The DA was 2000. Apparently, if my times are corrected (with temp, humid, elevation, pressure), it's supposed to be a 13.1@105.48mph.

I was hoping to hit 13.4s the whole time and I was glad to hit 13.3. I can't wait until it cools down. And I need to get my 60' to a 1.7, which seems impossible for some reason. Oh well. Today just wasn't the best day for drag racing.

Thanks to all those that showed up and raced.

Yea my best was:
2.148
5.871
8.928
81.21
11.56
13.778
101.89

And that was on street tires the runs on slicks were worse. Frist time on slicks and I would need alot more than 3 runs to figuar them out.

It was hot and humid
