I'm not sure knocking down four cones in three runs & DNFs in three other runs is good car control.
However, the only clean run he ran was also his fastest time.

My Z was more beat up during our Hill County cruize a couple of weeks ago than anytime that I've autocrossed. The AT&T Center is a great venue for autocross -- nice smooth surface with hardly any debris on the pavement. Even if you knocked down a cone, it will not damage or scratch your Z at all. The course is also laid out so you are nowhere near any curbs or posts in the huge parking lot.
Russell - I can't believe you didn't sign up for the Driveway event, are you at least on the waiting list? There's gonna be quite a few Zs you know (da mo' da betta)
I'll +2 on that and hopefully we can see more Zs next time.

Brake pads, like no wear!

In autocross, each run is only about 50-60 seconds & you may get 6-8 runs each day. You are mostly in 2nd gear. Wear & tear? Hardly at all compared to being on a track. Your stock tires & brakes are fine for autocross. Heck, there are less road-worthy cars running in autocross all the time. It's called their "project cars" . . .

They also probably want to see your NISMO wing that one announcer described this weekend as, "the non-functional wing for autocross & only good for slicing cones in half."
