Hey, guys & gals! We need more 350Zs out there! We're always outnumbered by Vettes, STIs, S2Ks, etc. BUT never outgunned! If you're new to autocross, we will be out there to help you out. Just make sure your Z is mechanically sound & you have a good set of street tires. Trust me, the adrenaline rush after your 1st autocross will last for days!

Until they road-race at MSR or TMS. Then Autox feels like nothing! :P

Well, yeah, nothing compares to driving the 350Z on a road course. After all, that's where it performs the best!

would go but leave for a cruise that day, and would be at driveway again in sept but they picked the most stupid sunday to do it that month. Why have only 1 of 2 autocrosses in Austin a year during ACL Fest?!?! Some people just can't plan things out right.

lol! Spokes I tell ya, they take things way overboard. You ask a simple question about what class your car should be in, and it gets them all in a up-roar. At least SASCA has been quiet.

Bump . . . autocross is this Sunday & online registration ends Friday night. You can still do walk-in registration on Sunday AM. Is your Z all GO or just SHOW ? Come on out & have fun on Sunday!

i would love to go, but i have this severe fear of me messing up something. i push my car here and there, but never taken it to the track or autox event cause of that fear. i imagine it'd be super fun but don't want to hurt my baby. 25 bucks to race or to watch? or both?

25 bucks to race. Watch is free. This will not hurt your car. It is much easier than road racing. The only thing it will put some wear on is your tires.

Autocross is very safe. Heck, it's safer than driving above the speed limit on the streets. You'll be in 2nd gear at the most. There's only one car at a time going thru the course at about 20-30 second intervals. You just follow the cones & it will not hurt your Z if you knock down a cone. I have knocked down cones many times without issues & I have an after-market front spoiler.

I have a brand new '06 & Russ has an even newer '07 NISMO Z that he's taking out this weekend. Heck, there are more expensive cars out there than our Zs -- Z06s, Lotus, BMWs, Porsches, etc. If you don't feel comfortable driving your Z, come on out. It's free to watch & if you're interested, you can ride with one of the drivers to get an idea on what autocross feels like.
