You all are running out of excuses for not showing up -- "I forgot!", "I had a hangover.", "I have to work.", etc. Last month, we only had three 350Zs show up. Heck, there are more Corvettes & Miatas out there every month than our beloved 350Zs. If you do not want to race, just show up & support your fellow 350Z drivers!

Yes, definitely come on out even if you don't want to race. You can always request to ride with one of the drivers to get a feel on what autocross is all about. There are 68 entries as of this morning. Lots of high powered cars -- Z06s, STIs, RX8s, a Lotus Exige, highly modified 280Z, etc.
Heck, next weekend's autocross in Austin has 128 cars entered, and 16 on the waiting list! And they have several 350Zs entered there!

Driving on the streets of SA is more dangerous than autocross. Only one car at a time goes thru the course, with ~30 second intervals between cars. The cones will not damage your car, and you're only in 2nd gear. Russ has a NISMO Z that is brand new & he is autocrossed his Z last month. I have an '06 with only ~6K miles.
Our Zs were born to track!!! Turn them loose!!!

Okay, Russ, since you're in touch with the local clubs, try to invite them for this weekend's autocross. Heck, the venue is local, they just have to get up early on Sunday morning with a hangover . . .

Bump . . . last day to register online for Sunday's autocross. Walk-in registration on Sunday AM also available.
Everyone have a good weekend . . . it's going to be nice weather finally!
