I am sorry if you think meeting up with people with the same car that share their car experiences is boring. I look forward to the next meet being planned by you.

P.S. We have said from the beginning that we don't mind it staying small. So, if the usual suspects are the only ones that show, well, we won't be disappointed.

P.S.S. My car was NOT in attendance this time.

Couldn't have said better myself... Good Job George...

My idea of a meet is a day at a road course or autocross course, thats fun and a real reason to get together. I do question the amount of people that would even show up to such a thing or even have a remote bit of intrest.
A car like the Z is intended to be raced, not sitting still just to be looked at.

Any other car I've owned including my Audi S4 I still have, the meets have been rather successful and large. WE plan a day at a race course and usually grill some burger and have a good time, that to me is a reason worth getting together.

I am not trying to put down or discredit the current meets, am only saying I think they should be better planned and actually have a core reason to get together, rather then just seeing the same old-same old.

Cinematographer actually, sure I can take pictures but am sure there is some else that likes taking pictures of cars --cause I dont

Like Tru said. We never intended for this to be a big meet. The smaller the better and it keeps the idiots away. But to me these meets are worth it becuz we all consider each friends with the same ridez. We can sit there and talk about our jobs, cars, girlfriend, wifes, or shoot the ****. Again we are not trying to be Z club of Houston. No disrespect. but we are trying to gather up a few people to hang out and make friends. If this is not up to your standards. Then don't come and don't post on our threads. But if you do ever wanna come out and chill and have some Hooters. You are more then welcome to, we don't discriminate. I understand that everybody is intittle to there own opinion. And I am not up set, but I think we've made our point pretty clear as to why we do it the way we do.

Magicpie be cool and be safe. maybe next time you can make it out to our meets and just chill out and have people just look at your car.

On that, i hope everybody now gets why we do it and has nothing else to say about it.

Well I made my case and as predicted it didnt go over well, so I wont mention it again.

Guess I'll just continue to be the only Z at all the autocross meets
Just thought surely someone believed a car should be driven and not treated like a princess

I sure hope you are not implying that since we have meet and eat meetings that none of us actually "drive" our cars. I think you have the car meet mistaken for a car show. Because, I know of 2 for sure, maybe 3 that will be glad to show you what the Z can do. No, it may not be at the local autocross, but it may be at an actual road course, MSR or TWS, or if you feel real lucky, you may get a shot at a Z at the drag strip. Race types of meets usually have pretty low attendance.

No disrespect, but please don't mention it again if thats how you feel.
My car is not a princess but I will drive how I damn well please...

End of discussion......

As far as the Z's, D's and Double G's meet... Keep an eye out, we will try to keep these monthly. If you don't see something by next month. Remind us, Robert and I will get something put together.

Bring it to the track TSW on Nov 17-18 $250 for all weekend. Professional driving instructors are included and there are class divisions. Its about 20 minutes before you arrive in College Station. ZCOH will be going and there is a 25% discount given to 10+ groups of ppl. More will be posted as the event draws closer. Oh and sorry I missed this one guy I got oof work late and had paper due next day. See yall round.

LOL @ home slice. And why am I, all of a sudden, the bad influence? I'm the only one in the group that's married. lol.

BBQ sounds good. Potential venues:

My crib
Bear Creek Park
If someone lives at an apartment with a california kitchen at the pool
open to suggestions

Another reason we don't have it every other weekend is b/c alot of ppl (myself included), have alot of things going on. Bachelor parties, work, travel, sexy time....most of which are during the week end. I work 8 days a week, so squeezing time in is difficult. Most of time, when weekend work is available, I get 2-4 days notice....so planning it in advance poses a problem.

Magic Pie....we didn't sit in the parking lot at treasures....we all got dances...you included....my boy brian and I got your dance too....lol. So you weren't standing around, you were sitting in a chair, with some big ******* in your face while Mr. Happy tried to find his way out. lol.

+1....meets get too big and you start attracting the bad elements. ppl doing burn outs, racing in the street, throwing bottles, etc etc. Small = good. You get to know ppl better when its 5-10....more than 20 folks produces bad results. People are general good.....crowds are generally bad.

Well that was good times, those are cool, just I like to see meets similar to the what the so-cal guys are doing with a day at the track and BBQ. Or even what must other car clubs in houston are doing.

The R6 is only good when I dont run into you on purpose, I do play by Forza rules b!tch. Hell I'll even go backwards to hit you, cause "I in it to win it, but if I don't... you won't either"

real life buddy....Yamaha YZF-R6. Forza may help you learn the track, but it can't simulate G-force and *****! The gixxer will be doing the same thing. I have yet to race a car on that track, but if I can drag a knee....I bet i can turn a wheel on the same course.
