Default DFW G35/350Z BBQ meet - December 1st

What: DFW G35/350Z get together & BBQ
When: December 1, 2007 - 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Where: Huffines Park, Richardson TX
Why: Meet, Greet, Eat

http://dallas.citysearch.com/profile...on_center.html

This is kind of short notice, but lets get this meet going. Huffines Park has hosted quite a few car meets, since it has quite a large parking area. I'm not sure if there will be normal weekend activity there with soccer moms, kids, baseball games, but we'll play it by ear when we get there. Huffines main parking lot is right off Apollo Rd, which is off Plano Rd between Arapaho and Beltline. If the main parking lot is too full, we can migrate to the adjacent parking lots. *update* Hal reserved the pavillion area from 11am-1pm. *end update*

A few members are down for some BBQ action, so if you'd like to eat something feel free to bring the grub to share. bmoon_007 wants to make fahGitas, and that sounds super good.

Since I work for the City of Richardson, I called the parks department. The pavillion (under cover) is available before 1pm. It is booked for the rest of the day & evening. So I reserved the pavillion from 11am-1pm. We need to be OUT OF THERE by 1pm. Plenty of parking. He suggested taking our own grill if you wanna cook out since the grills there r kinda nasty....

If someone can bring a grill in their Z, I'll bring some hamburger patties to cook. We got this thread going on g35driver.com as well. As far as alcohol, I don't think it's a good idea to have open containers at this public park. If you want to hide your drink in a cup, that would work.

ok - that'll work (on the open container thing)

dont know about the grill part though..I have a small (like camping) grill but if there is going to be a lot of peops - that would be pretty much pointless.

COUNT ME IN btw...

Maybe we should just do this in lieu of the cruise on the 2nd, since we don't really have any details for it. Just a thought.....

the folks on G35driver are suggesting everyone chip in $5 for pizza. would be easier than grilling and coordinating that.

if you want, but I probably won't be drinking at 11am. Try not to have open containers.

Can we bring "a friend" or is it strictly 350z owners? My friend will be riding with me so no extra car to worry about.
