The Heads-Up race will be Domestics together and Imports together, then at the end the top import vs the top domesic
This also means we are adding more trophies

Ok the Motorplex wants to get this done so we are pretty much a go at this point, i am calling dealerships and auto parts stores to find sponsorship!!

I dunno about you guys but i am extremely hyped about this.

I will be attending as many gatherings as my work/school/and planning of this event allow me to to spread the word about this.
i will also let everyone know when the pre-registration is open, and I personally suggest that as many people that can do the pre-registration.

Ok here is the deal. all the info that i posted before is correct.
We have a new task though, the rental and expense fees for the Motorplex are about $10,000.00, so i am going to be working on getting sponsorship to that amount over the next few weeks, if i am unable to find that amount then we will be waiting until 2009 to have this event.

I'd start calling dealerships, marketing departments for car mfg's, maybe verizon wireless(i know they have a couple show cars/trucks), monster, rock star or red bull, quaker state (call jotech and see if they can help)...you know...things like that.

Good luck, sounds like you are trying to set up a nopi like event...they have a team of people working to get everything coordinated. You def got some work ahead of you.

 

Three Nissan dealerships I would suggest calling are Bankston Nissan (Lewisville), Courtisy Nissan (Richardson), everyones favorite Trophy Nissan (Mesquite), and of course you do not have to limit yourself to Nissan. Try to hit up any dealership you can think of that may want to support or looks like they support aftermarket cars. I know domestic dealerships love to have ad's to get their name out, so make sure to hit up plenty of them. One thing is for sure though, make sure that you have plenty of information that they may ask for. You are almost making a sales pitch to these guys here, and dont forget to check out local shops. $100-$500 is just as good as $1000+

 

I apologize, this event will not be happening this year, possible for next year, SnS Racing will be organizing other meets through out the year though, thank you for your support in this event but the price tag that the motorplex wishes to tag on is just beyond what is acceptable for a Charity event
