One month from now I say we all cruise up to Tulsa and show them how Texas rolls. The Oklahoma boys have been giving me a lot grief about us not wanting to play away from home. They are having a cruise similar to this one on Sunday with Monday being a Holiday!

Midwest Z Fest here I come.


Green Country Cruise Northeastern Oklahoma
10 a.m.–3 p.m. (including time for lunch on Historic Rt. 66)

This will be a “Guided Cruise,” but detailed route instructions will be provided for those inevitable times when the caravan gets split up by traffic lights or unscheduled rest stops. The route (about 100 miles) is best described as “scenic,” with scheduled pauses at two or three Oklahoma wineries (yes, we actually have wineries).

The main part of the cruise will officially end in Vinita and participants can opt to take Rt. 66, or jump on I-44 at Vinita (toll) and hotshot back to town. Or, if they crave some twisty roads through the flint hills of Northeastern Oklahoma, they can take the "Super-Cruise" and spend another hour-and-a-half bonding with their Z car.

So who left during the cruise just curious?
I think you should blur out the plates on the photos. Most people do it, I personally don't care that much but I always do it and some people do care.

 

I admit. I was one of the few. By the time we passed Grapevine Mills Mall I was really really low on gas plus I wasn't feeling all that hungry at the time for some reason.

Really, we had a great time as you can see. There were a bunch of great guys there with there Z's and yours would be one of the top looking ones.

 

If we can set a date I will make sure nothing gets planned on it :-D

Reason being, There is an autoX event on the 31st that myself and a few other guys that were at this meet are all planning on going to....

That's perfect for me. I'd love to spend my last day cruising before the fall semester starts

 

I mentioned last week about meeting on Sunday Aug. 3rd and several people showed interest. It doesn't have to be one of these "official" meets, but I'd like to use my Sunday off to hang with some fellow Z owners.

I've been fortunate enough to get out of work in time to make these meets, but I was late last night and just barely caught you guys close to the end of the cruise.

Either way, I'm going to be at the Grapevine Mills meet spot this Sunday Aug. 3rd if anyone wants to show up. PM me and maybe we'll start another thread about it.
