Sure you want it mid-aug, J? Maybe we can schedule it the day after it rains if the forecast says so?

Maybe a week into august? I think I'm gone the first few days of august. When I get home in an hour, I'll plot out the route I usually take. There's a big parking area too near beginning and end.

If you come to this meet guys, just don't do anything stupid or make a fool out of the Z owners. We don't need a bad rep with this crowd....this is a nice mature & laid back meet.
True the owners (of the cars) are real nice. But holy jito make sure you get there early. It was hot by 10! I am going to try and do the 6:30 thing. Go home and get some rest after that.

Was your Z the black one there with the V2 front and JDM kit?

Unfortunately not. I showed up with Dave and and my brother. We were the Z/G/Jetta combo parked by the CGT and Veyron.

I never parked my car in the show/meet.....just left it in the parking lot. I was only there an hour as well.

The two 350Z's that were there were some of the cleanest in DFW though.....for sure......they represented well.

I just made a run of the potential cruise route. 5 minutes from Northpark to the start, and about 5 minutes on the route. Posted speed limit is 25. I only saw one car coming the opposite way, 3 motorcycles, and I was behind a car half the route. It's pretty fun because it has some twisty sections. There's also a couple parking lots on the route, and the big one at the end. Plenty of room to park and take pictures.

I will def bring the 40D if I come out. If Dave and Hal have no prior engagements you know they will bring their Nikons.

Ya, I think we could even spend more time along the cruise route just stopping to take pictures. Definitely could get some shots of everyone lined up coming up or going down a hill, as well as some shots around turns, and right on the edge of the lake.
